ACM EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION is a charitable Institution incorporated as a Company under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956. Its sole objective is to give education including technical education to the people irrespective of caste, creed and religion so as to raise their standard of living and particular to give technical education to the rural poor so as to enable them to eke their livelihood.
Accordingly, it has been decided to run a ITI for various trades in the villages. Pudukkottai District and Tuticorin District have been chosen to give relief to the poor by developing craftmanship in various trades, thus helping them to get employment for their living.
With this object in view, AC MUTHIAH PRIVATE ITI’s have been started in KONAPET and TUTICORIN.
The aim of the Institutes is to introduce Technical knowledge in backward area pupil to develop job oriented and self employment oriented education. The said course provides a comprehensive Training both in Theoretical and Practical aspects. No prior knowledge of technicality is required at the beginning, it starts from fundamentals.
At the end of the every year of course, Trainees have to appear for the examination conducted by the Department of Employment & Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
Trainee have to pass first and second year annual exams for the award of National Trade Certificates with which they can become an ITI holder to apply to various companies for Apprenticeship Training or to enroll in Skill Training Office for getting Apprenticeship Training. They may apply to various Companies for Job opportunities.
